Audio problems suck

So we just got done with episode 16 and I realized that the audio was fucking up. There's a hiss throughout the entire show and the audio keeps cutting out for a second here and there. The show is still listenable though so please enjoy it. I'm getting more and more picky about our sound but the more I try and improve it the worse it seems to get. I guess I should just keep it simple. I think it's important to care about sound quality. It's an audio podcast, all there is to care about is sound quality... well that and content but we've got content down. I promise next week will be better. Don't get me wrong though, the show is still funny as shit. So go listen already!

I took down episode 16 for now due to the audio problems. It was pissing me off just listening to it today. I'll see if I can somehow fix it this weekend and have it back up soon.

Batman kicked my ass

I guess I should start this blog out by telling you all to check out episode 15 - The Gong Show that we recorded last night with Rick and Morgan. So, go to the episodes page now and check that out.
Now, moving on... Last night roommate Mike and I went to a midnight opening of The Dark Knight. Let me tell you, this movie was everything I hoped it would be. I could complain about the fact that they changed some of the origin stories but they did it so well that I can't even begin to say anything bad. I don't want to be one of those pricks that basically kiss Heath Ledger's ass because the guy is dead. I truely mean this, Ledger's performance was amazing. I had to keep reminding myself that that was Heath Ledger playing The Joker. I was a little hesitant at first to see Maggie Gyllenhaal take over the role of Rachel Dawes but in no way did she make the character feel different from Katie Holmes' version of the role. And let me add, this was a long movie. I believe the runtime is 152 minutes and that's a good thing. They filled the time well. You will not get bored at this movie.
So I can't think of a better comic book movie than The Dark Knight. And FUCK Tommy Lee Jones! His Two-Face sucked. Aaron Eckhart rocks!

That's what our very own Ed McMahon (Nick) gave the new episode, but I promise you it's a full 5. We have a professional join us this week. That's right an actual radio host so we really stepped it up. In episode 14 I talked a little about adding a donations page or button to the site sometime soon. I want to do this so as we grow and get more listeners and fans we can make a little money to make the show better. How are we planning on making it better you ask? Well I would love, at some point, to go live with the show and have a live chat and maybe some live calls. Also It'd be really great to get some better equipment. The mics we are using are only so good. And who knows, maybe someday we'll have enough listeners to be able to sell some merch. So look for a donate section to be coming sometime in the near future.
